The End Is Near...

I saw my GP today and he remarked how much better I looked and of course am grateful for it signifies my nearness to the end of a dark and difficult place. I remain am off work till the end of this month but I am keen to get back to the ministry I love doing. I know I will emerge fitter and stronger.

I will never forget my twin nor how significant she is to me, but I shall be able to move forward, cherishing the many happy moments we have had together. no one can take that away from me.

The circle I believe is now broken, depression is not an issue and my future will be shaped by the Lord Jesus Christ. I remain immensely grateful to my family, employers and many friends who have provided me the space to grieve.

In the next few weeks I shall explore C S Lewis, book, 'A Grief Observed' from a stronger position, one of strength, hoping to help many others through their own grief.

I have just received details from The Lone Twin Network and the book 'The Lone Twin: Understanding Twin Bereavement and Loss' by Joan Woodward, I shall also share my observations with you. For now I must dash out...
