Why Is Life So Complicated?

You simply may choose not to believe it but I have actually been trying to connect to the internet for hours! Hours of work undone. I choose to believe it was prayers that finally provided the break through. Beyond this temporal frustration, yesterday was a better day. I was able to visit an old friend and she was able to share some good news with me. I was also able to visit the barbing saloon and obtain a 1st class hair cut, my wife would be proud of me.

I am getting used to being amongst people again, relatives but I have the opportunity to retire, to recharge and re-emerge. That is a good thing, for when I feel overwhelmed there is an escaped route.

In my mother's room I discovered some older pictures of the family, mostly my father, but am determined to search for more of my twin and I.

My brother came over yesterday to say hello and deliver the clothes my brother-in-law has chosen for friends and relatives to wear, it is called 'ask ebi', clothes of the relations.

We travel this morning for the funeral, but before we go I wanted to comment about Pastor Steve of my church, the Oasis Christian Centre, who last Sunday delivered a timely sermon about mourning, it helped me and I thank God for him. Now I must leave the blog before the power company strikes with darkness and the accompanying chaos that follows. Please continue to pray for me to be strong….

Ps: I may be off the blog for the next few days while I attend the funeral arrangements, I also suspect I may not have ready access to the internet.
