What A Week!

It has been a busy week, varied and busy and a welcome one. I have not had the time nor the inclination to write my blog daily but thoughts keep on whirling around in my mind.

My newly acquired pair of glasses, obtained in Nigeria with the help of Mazini (Kola Onifade) broke with no warning, and I had to visit Vision Express in Angel, London for an emergency pair. A second pair with transition lenses will be delivered through the Beeston branch later in the next week.

I was in London earlier in the week, Hertfordshire to be precise, twice in this week, all work related and I was glad to settle back to the comforts at home. My twin has occupied a lot of space in my dreams recently, she just keeps on coming up, mostly not in a bad way but in a good sense.

I was searching for some documents today and I finally found her certificates and other important documents, packed safely in my suitcase, for a second I looked at her Bachelor of Laws certificate and said, what futility! But when I remember her impact on the legal profession, her contributions through the firm of Jackson, Etti and Edu, I know that her degree was worth its while.

I think about so many unspoken words between us because we believed the end would not come so soon, maybe, if we had relented a bit we would have shared so many more things together, but who can say?
