After a stuttering start to the year, I am now ready for business, not as usual but in a different and on a better level and for that I am truly thankful.
I have spent the last two days on leave away from work representing a dear friend at an Employment Tribunal, things are looking good for him. However, we have to wait till 27th January for the final decision, the waiting continues.
I travel to the office in Hertfordshire tomorrow to meet my other work colleagues and my boss, it will be good to see them for the first time this year.
On Sunday, I travel to Maidstone Kent to pray at my twin sister's grave with my brother-in-law. It is a long time I visited it and I shall be glad to re-visit and celebrate her for who she was and where she is.
A question, that arises, is when would I cease the writing of this blog, at this stage, I am unable to answer that question, but as far as it helps others and myself in our healing from losses of loved ones I shall continue. I see my counsellor next Monday and I wonder what she will say.
In the meantime,I am concerned but a bit disengaged from the going ons in Nigeria, the land of my father's birth, where the removal of fuel subsidy is creating a political crises. I feel the urge to resume writing under the caption 'Speaking Truth To Power'.
