Yesterday was difficult, but comforting as I met my twin's husband, difficult because we share a profound loss, comforting because I believe he understands what I am going through. At Kent, I met the twins of a family friend, they are just about a year old and identical, I was fixated on them.
It was good to meet my twin's children, my brother's children and mine (who are on holiday), and to celebrate with my mother on her birthday and to share in her joy with others. But for me it was still a full working day, with much accomplished and a late return home last night.
On my way back home yesterday I decided to see if I could obtain further bargains for my regular official journeys. I met a kind Customer Service Officer at the train station counter who booked my tickets for late on Monday night but gave me the offer of changing my travel times if my meeting finishes earlier. This is unheard of and can only attribute it to the favour of God. I returned home with some goodies of the edible variety for my wife.
The agenda, today is very busy, it always gets like this as the beginning of the new term approaches but I know the form now. I hope to return tomorrow with something more substantial on my progress.
