It Has Been A While …….

I have not been able to blog for sometime and I wish I could say today that I have turned a corner. I am not sure I have but I know things will only get better. I see a counsellor on the 20th October 2011 and look forward to that. I have also applied to join the Lone Twin Network and also order a book written by the founder of the Network called 'The Lone Twin Understanding Twin Bereavement and Loss' I have also had the offer of counselling help from a friend who is experienced in this area, and option I might decide to take up.

I wanted to share something from well-known researcher Nancy Segal in the USA has through her many books, added knowledge to our understanding of twin relationships as well as twin loss. She believes the loss to be highly significant and queries whether for some lone twins it is greater even that of the loss of a spouse (Segal:2000) I of course do not necessarily share this, but I hope it allows many who follow this blog understand the enormity of my loss. As a believer I know the form and what scripture says and my wife has been good in the constant reminder and in the end it is this that will navigate a clear path back to as near normality as is possible.

A positive development is my loss of 7 kilo grammes since I started using the gym in the Summer, not bad eh? Tomorrow is another day!
