I am getting used to my new Blackberry Curve, 9360 upgraded from my older phone, I had wanted a Torch but was not in a position to acquiesce to the demands of over £100 from Orange. My veridict?, I am impressed. However, the phone appears slimmer and does not fit into its old protective jacket so I have had to purchase a new one.
The choice was between a belt held one and a discreet one, I opted for the latter as I was not prepared to advertise my new phone for all and sundry. Then again, hence lies the contradiction, I am sharing this with you. My daughter, 'Seyitan, has agreed, for a fee, to place my old phone on Ebay, oh happy days.
That is what life is about, I may choose to be imprisoned by my circumstances or break free and use them as a springboard for great things. I may choose to live in sin or seek righteousness and all its benefits. I have also discovered that the way of the cross which I have chosen cannot be of a la carte variety, I either follow Christ all the way or not at all, no little compromises, no rationalisations and certainly no excuses. I must take up my cross and follow him.
I look forward to my return to work on Tuesday this week, in the meantime I must undertake some chores and focus on the positive things. One positive thing, is my twin's 1st daughter who is 15 years old today, she grows more beautiful by the day and I thank God for her life and wish her a Happy Birthday.
