I have very fond memories of the Christmas of 2008. On the invitation of my twin my family spent the holidays in Lagos at her home. Such was her eagerness for us to spend that time with her family that in her typical generosity she contributed towards our travel costs.
Those were the best times of our lives, those were glorious two weeks of fun and bonding. We celebrated the fact that she, Folashade had survived chemotherapy from the previous year. We were certain she was back to full health and that the worst was over and the devil had lost.
For sometime now I have realised that it has been hard, so difficult, to keep up the momentum of writing on this blog, or blogging to use the right term. Why? Its just too hard for me to collect my thoughts together and express it. I know, however, that am in a much better place than I have ever been in the past 20 months.
Oh Folashade how I miss you so much!
